The FCG series continuous melter for blocks of fat, anhydrous butter and hydrated fat (vegetable fat, diary butter, etc.) is intended for the confectionery, dairy and food industries. It is equipped with a special innovative system that guarantees high productivity, reduced energy costs and considerable savings in labour. The blocks of fat are positioned by the operator or automatically fed onto the inclined, hot loading surface, so they spontaneously slide towards the heated rotors equipped with a thin spiral that acts as a scraper and continuously renews the area to be melted in contact with the hot part, ensuring excellent heat exchange efficiency.
The blocks being melted move towards the outfeed where there is a sloping surface and are pushed downwards. This increases the pressure on the hot rotors and accelerates the process.
The liquid product is collected in the tank where the rotors are installed and is constantly collected and sent to the downstream production processes. The outfeed pipe is located on the upper part of the tank, so that it is always full in order to complete the melting process of solid residue that has passed under the rotors.
The melting cycle is extremely short while using moderate temperatures, thus allowing the quality characteristics of the raw material to be respected.
The overall dimensions are reduced and, as a result, the continuous melters can also be installed in confined spaces.
They can be equipped with automatic devices to completely empty the melting tank and the flow pipes, if you need to change the product.
